Welcome to Seaplane Adventures. Sightseeing is our specialty. With over 60 years of flying seaplanes on San Francisco Bay, we promise you a magical ride above some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

We offer a convenient complimentary pick-up service at Pier 39 for departures from our Seaplane Base off Highway 101 (4 miles North of the Golden Gate Bridge).

Our seaplanes are ideal for sightseeing and photography. Their high wings, large view windows and untinted glass present panoramic views and unrivaled photo opportunities. Passenger capacity varies from 2 to 6, depending on aircraft. Our experienced pilots will point out landmarks as you cruise by at a leisurely pace.

Golden Gate Tour

Our 30-minute basic flight will take you over the splendor of the greatest city in the U.S. - San Francisco! On this flight you will take off from our seabase in the lovely bayside village of Sausalito just across the Golden Gate Bridge. We will fly along the coast over the Golden Gate National Reserve past Baker Beach and the Pt. X Lighthouse, then left over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge herself! Then on above Crissy Field, Downtown San Francisco, AT&T Park - Home of the Major League Baseball World Champion San Francisco Giants, then on over the infamous island prison of Alcatraz. Finally your flight will be completed with a pass by the historic Angel Island - the Immigrant Gateway to the West and a smooth landing back in Sausalito’s Richardson Bay.

Duration: 30 mins. (Please allow 1 hour for tour and transfers)
Tour Times: 11:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm

Sunset Champagne Flight

This end of day excursion follows the tour route described in our Discover the Bay Area Flight. However, this flight takes place as the sun bathes the Bay Area in gorgeous hues of orange and red as the sun sets on San Francisco. Passengers will enjoy a cool, crisp, bubbling glass of Northern California’s finest champagnes. This flight is the perfect way to romance a significant other and set up for a sumptuous meal in seaside Sausalito afterward.

Location: This flight is only available from our Sausalito location and no shuttle pickups are available.

Our 45 minute flight includes all the sights described in the Golden Gate Tour flight, but brings you the additional delights of the Bay Area’s dramatic coastline. This flight will begin with our take off from our seabase in the lovely bayside village of Sausalito just across the Golden Gate Bridge. We will then fly right over the Golden Gate National Reserve and out along the coast beyond the Golden Gate.

Norcal Coastal Tour

Our deluxe 60-minute flight begins with our take off from our seabase in the lovely bayside village of Sausalito just across the Golden Gate Bridge. We then traverse lovely Marin County on our way out over Tomales Bay where Sir Francis Drake himself likely landed over a century ago. Then on to the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, looking for frolicing porpoise and whales along the way until we round the breathtakingly scenic Pt. Reyes Lighthouse.
